Hello there!
I wanted to check out your website and give you some honest feedback!
First Impressions: Very impressed with the website design. The website gives me a feeling of being in a very clean and cut modern lobby with the different shades of grays, whites, and blues. All the colors that were hand picked by the designer were chosen wisely. The website is very appealing and makes it easy for the user to navigate around. It seems active, which is always good for a present day website.
Colors are extremely important to me since I have sensitive eyes. If it is too bright or too white, it doesn't work. If it is too dark and has bright colors that don't flow together, it's not going to work. Your website strays away from this and has all the professional colors of a technological website, in my opinion.
Content: The content of this website is very straight forward. As a part of the audience, I can tell right away that this is a website designed to talk about all things that involve technology. It's almost a little too simplistic from the websites that I have researched. I would suggest adding some more content ideas. There is so much technology and there is so much potential with this website, I wouldn't limit myself down to just a few topics. The first few websites are the ones that remind me most of your website.
Check out websites such as:
1)TechRadar
2) Mashable
3) TechCrunch
4) The Verge
5) CNet
Graphics: Honestly, I wouldn't add too many more graphics in. In my opinion, when a website adds too many photos like "The Verge" it gets a little messy and distracting. TechDot right now is easy to read and easy to grasp.
Also, just an idea but I think the "Community Talk" and the "General" categories should be consolidated into one category. That's one of the few things that I think should change. However, that is just because I am a little OCD with my boards and I think that the Community Talk should be first and merged into General. "Guides & Tutorials" should be one of the first things that members and guests see alike. This is how I would put those categories in order (but these are just my ideas).
Guides & Tutorials General Talk Introduce Yourself (this can be moved into General Talk) Competitions & Give Aways (this can be moved into News & Rumors)
Advertisement Ideas: I would find Facebook groups and ask to advertise your website on the pages of the groups. Find similar people that enjoy technology. Go all over the internet to post as many links to your website as you possibly can, but make sure you have permission first. Also, since this website is generally about technology you can also post it to your Facebook page and your family and friends can use this link as an outlet for unanswered questions.
Ask the websites that I suggested if you an advertise on their pages as well. There's so many communities and websites that can make use of this website. With that being said, if and when the website gets popular, make sure to post something every day. I am trying to get into that habit as well.
Last Few Notes: The website is fantastic. Feel free to add in a few more graphics, but don't over crowd it. You can also create business cards and hand them to major stores such as:
MicroCenter GameStop Phone Stores like Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, T Mobile
I know it sounds silly, but if you want the website to grow, I definitely suggest handing business cards and making friends with business owners. That way they can recommend customers to go to TechDot for answers. However, with popularity comes responsibility. If you have members that are every single day and they want answers, make sure that you and your team are big enough to handle those questions (I don't know how you and your team works now, just giving some advice).
I'm not saying that you have to implement my ideas in anyway (since I am not an expert). I am just giving some honest feedback. I hope you liked the feedback and I wish you all the success in the world!

Well I'm working on to add more content, but my forum don't have that much members in it to reply on all that categories and boards,so many of them will be without posts, later when I get some new and active members I will add more boards, more categories...thank you for suggestion! I will think about reorganizing those categories,I'm still in all that "beta version" If I can say like that. So for advertising? I'm working on that,I have Facebook page,Twitter and Instagram.Always looking for new people to join. Thank you again for this amazing opinions and suggestions.

Any time friend!
I understand building a website is a passion and hard work. Once you get more members, your site will definitely be more active.
I can definitely see this website having a lot of potential. Especially, if you go to the stores that I suggested. People can refer customers to get expert and inside help from your website if you develop business cards.
I hope you have a wonderful night!
