Go to Admin > Structure > Headers & Footers. Click on the board that you want this to take effect in and put this in the FOOTER: <script type="text/javascript"> $('.container > .title-bar > .controls li a').html("Make a New Thread"); </script>
Change "Make a New Thread" to what you want (be sure to keep the quotation marks, though).

SafeInSanity, 1. Did you put it in the board's footer? It's not a guest-friendly board, so I can't look. 2. Paste the full code that you put in, please.

Have you done template mods? That code works on my test forum on a vanilla theme. It also worked via console on one of your boards named Hub.

Well, I'll either need to register on your forum, or you can post (or PM me) with the changes (most particularly, any class name changes and/or parent/sibling changes) for that board or you'll need a PB Admin to take a look. Up to you.

Howdy howdy, it's @ kamiyakaoru , not @ kami! :D The template mod I provided did not change any classes or effect the 'create thread' button. However, you can do this without a script which might be easier. Sample: kamitest5.proboards.com/board/2/test-boardIs this what you're looking for?

Thanks for the info, Kami! I noticed on your test forum that the "New Blog" just links to the board, and not creating a new thread on the board. Is that intended?

<script type="text/javascript"> $('.container > .title-bar > .controls li a').html("What's on Your Mind?"); $('.container.new-area.wysiwyg-area > .title-bar > h2').html("What's on Your Mind?"); </script>
The line that has the .controls li a changes the Create Thread button on the Thread List page. The line that has the h2 should change the title bar text on the Posting page. Just change the "What's on Your Mind?" to the text you want - but be sure to keep the quotation marks in both instances. REPLACE the old code I gave you with the above - putting it in the FOOTER for the board to be affected ( Admin > Structure > Headers & Footer > (select board) > Footer).
