I am wondering to add the Notification and Participated threads lists in a dropdown box on the Header. But when i use the code $[notification_list], it doesn't works in Forum Wrapper. How can I add Notification and Participated thread lists Anyone Please help.......

Then asking for help here is useless?? I can't say whether or not it would be possible to achieve your goal by writing a script in your Forum Wrapper (or Home) layout template. What is certain is that the $[notification_list] will be of no use to you there.

To add on to what Retread commented on the variable not being valid: the reason for this is that variables can only call content that is already present on a page. It's not able to call information that isn't present simply because it doesn't exist and therefore any attempt to do so has 0 result. I am presuming that you want to do this to mimic the v6 function, but unfortunately this is where your ability to mimic it in v5 ends. The participated dialogue is not populated until it's opened, and javascript cannot call information that isn't present on the page, including content that is available on other pages (ie your notification list). The best you would be able to do would be to add notifications / the participated button into your dropdown menu with notification bubbles, but the actual information will not be displayed in the dropdown.
