It is a fair point, after all a private message was sent about a privacy policy update not long ago to all members.
In percentage terms,l expect the figure of any member or admin even looking at support is very low.
I would expect a message will be sent out about V6 changes when that happens?

We all received a private message on every single forum where we were a member, not just Proboards Support. It's the responsibility of the individual to read this message and the new privacy policy. Edit: I believe we have 18 months after the launch of v6 to upgrade our forums to v6.

I am really happy to see this change. I did this change about two years ago myself, to force it on my users once Chrome & Firefox started getting stricter. It is now standard for any images the image host I manage, to spit out https://. I retired http:// support about a year ago, along with schemeless. Straight https now.
