Hi, Cloudflare does not involve PushAlert. PushAlert is simply the location of the guide. This has nothing to do with SSL at all and I suggest you remove this unnecessary JavaScript. So, so far everything I have tried to do has no effect at all on broken images, except for uploading a few of them to be under storage here.
My time is up until about 32 hours from now, due to various meetings and other obligations I have. (Gives you a small rest from dealing with me.) Have you tried signing up for Cloudflare as we suggested? As far as I can tell you've taken no steps to resolve the issue in the way we suggested.

Marvelous!
I was told it would take 24 hours for the Cloudflare implementation to show results. It took less than 5 minutes!
Tens of thousands of images in over a thousand threads have reappeared. My discussion forum is saved!
This thread should be highlighted for others in my predicament.

Just one thing remains to be done: restore the custom two-state main menu buttons. Reverting to plain text helped, but is no longer necessary.

Scott (as he mentioned in his post) just disabled the plugin. Go to Admin>Plugins>Manage Plugins and re-check the box next to the Classic ProBoards Menu plugin to re-enable it.
