Hello! I have been working really hard on using this forum theme (https://www.proboards.com/library/themes/item/3369) for my Proboards, though I am struggling with changing the width of the banner as well as entering it. I've made the actual forum width 1100px, though the banner is still around 800px. Is there a way to stretch the width?

Hi yav That theme has some modifications to the Forum Wrapper layout template so any changes you need to make regarding the images in the banner will need to be done there. From your Admin panel, navigate: Admin Home> Themes> Layout Templates, then click on Forum Wrapper. Line 22 links to an external image which is being used as a placeholder for the image you would use as the image which would be revealed when you hover. Replace http://placehold.it/800x300 with the URL of the image you wish to use. Line 85 links to an external image which is being used as a placeholder for the image you would use to obscure the image which is displayed on hover. Replace http://placehold.it/800x300 with the URL of the image you wish to use. Line 85 also defines the dimensions of that container. height: 300px; width: 800px; Rather than wrestle with the cutesy 'reveal' feature, you might opt to make a copy of the theme and reset the Forum Wrapper layout template to default. That way your banner will be adjustable through the Visual Editor and you can use a clickable forum logo or forum title. But I'm not recommending you go one way or the other. Just presenting it as a choice.

Hi there, I'm currently trying to use the same theme but I can't seem to figure out the banner part either. I checked what you had said, but I don't see what you're referring to. If possible, could you help me figure it out? I have a custom image that I would love to use for the banner on the site but I cannot honestly figure this out.
I just came from what used to be invisionfree/zetaboards to this forum so everything is a little different for me, so I apologize!

Hi jinxeshisuIf a help thread for a theme, created by the theme author exists, it's best to use that to discuss any problems you have with it. In this case there isn't one. So it's okay to create your own thread. There isn't a rule that precludes you from piggybacking on someone else's thread here on the Themes board but I think making your own thread would have been preferable. Please note that on the Support Board of the Support Forum, that's mandatory, so if/when you seek help on that board, be sure to read the board-specific rules. That said, lets move on to your issue. If your forum is viewable by the public, please provide the forum URL in your next post. Also include the URL of the image you uploaded to your forum which you intend to use as the banner. Then I'll take a look at your forum and also examine my copy of the theme I have on a test forum and revisit this.
