Not sure if this is the right place to post this.
Is there a code or something to remove the last post column?

Hi, I have made this now, But I havn't customizabled it using CSS because the result will looks bad, If you want to try in a test forum so go to admin > themes > layout templates > board > board list (tab) Then find
<th class="latest last">Last Post</th> and remove it then find in the same tab
<td class="latest last">
{if $[board.posts] > 0}
{if $[board.last_thread]}
$[board.last_thread.recent_link]<br />
by $[board.last_thread.last_post.created_by]<br />
<span class="date">$[board.last_thread.last_post.created_on]</span>
{/if}
{else}
No posts have been made on this board.
{/if}
</td>
Then click preview changes I'll give the CSS part a try later, but I have some stuff to do, You can wait for another one and maybe another way

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. Is there a code or something to remove the last post column? Hi Michelangelo "Spike" ScarlattiMore information is needed. Do you want to remove the Last Post column in the Board List on your Home page? Or do want to remove the Last Post column in the Thread List when you view a board? Or do you want both? This should be a simple matter of an addition to the bottom of your Style Sheet. And at the same time, we can use more width for the .main so the total width of the row ads up to 100%. But it would also be helpful if you could link to a forum where the theme you're using is the default. We could assume the current column widths are proboards stock, but that's not always the case.

Oops, sorry. Um I would like to remove it from the home page. OK, I have the forum in maintenance mode but will remove it for this help. It only is the section where the countries are where the last column bit gets cut off. Or part of it gets cut. broomsticks-n-wands.proboards.com/

If you add this to the bottom of your Style Sheet for that theme: .container.boards .latest.last{display:none;} .container.boards .main.clickable{width:79%;} the first line will remove the Last Post column on the Home page and the second line will assign more width to the .main column (Name of the board, description, sub-board links, etc). This should work on most themes but if you have any problems with it, I will need to be able to view the theme.
Let me know if you're successful, please?

Say I decide I want to keep the last column. Is there an easier way to make the forum a bit wider than I already have it so I don't have to resize the images that is probably causing the mess?

Say I decide I want to keep the last column. Is there an easier way to make the forum a bit wider than I already have it so I don't have to resize the images that is probably causing the mess? You're using a sidebar plugin which complicates things, especially when viewing the forum in varying sizes of viewports. It looks like you have your forum width (#wrapper) defined as 900px. This forces the width to be exactly that size, so if viewing on a narrower screen, the right side will be hidden and you'll need to use the horizontal scroll bar that will appear at the bottom of the screen to see it. I'd suggest starting by changing the forum width (either in the Colors & Theme Creator or in the Visual Editor) to 100% or 95%. The background image for your banner will repeat horizontally. But you can change that to no repeat and use the Background Position to center it. You might also add this to the bottom of your Style Sheet: * img{max-width:100%;} That will resize images that are larger than their containers. If the left sidebar has a specified width in px, you should reduce that to the minimum value you can tolerate. The width for the sidebar that holds the boards, etc, should be set to auto. But I'm not familiar with that plugin so you'll probably need help from someone else on those issues. Also, you'll want to be very conservative on the use of margins and padding in the horizontal direction. So no, this won't be easy.

RetreadThat worked, plus I changed the size of the forum wrapper.
