Hello - I was looking all over rand couldn't find a way to limit the amount of people members can add to a PM. I know the max is 20 but I would like it to be more like 5. Would a plug be possible?
I did search to see if I could do this in admin panel and searched in this plug in section to see if anyone had already asked but I couldn't find anything so I am sorry if I missed it. If anyone answers at all thank you in advance.

I don't think a plugin can do that, but I could be wrong. I'll tag Brian to see if he can tell you if that's even possible. I think that might be something that's hard-coded into the software. Again, I could be wrong, so maybe some light could be shed on that.

A plugin could probably give the illusion of only being able to include 5 recipients, but at the end of the day a plugin is still client-side code and can't really restrict features. Anyone who knows how to get around it can, whether that be through outright disabling JavaScript or using a browser add-on to block the plugin script itself.
I usually offer this type of response for any plugin requests having to do with taking away functionality. Only restrictions built into the forum are guaranteed.
