We appear to have an increasing number of members suffering from slow loading pages. Some experience the issue whether at home or at work and various devices. I passed on the suggestion of viewing the console to see whats happening, but we have problems doing this on android devices. The delay is said to be around 30 seconds, due to the increasing number of members reporting the problem is there anything I can ask the moderators to look at.

Something I forgot to add, a lot of members that have reported problems of slow loading are also users of other forums hosted by proboards and don't encounter any problems with loading on those forums.

Hi,
So the only people experiencing any issue are on android devices?

Sorry, its not just android users, it's all platforms. I mentioned android because we have no idea how to view the console as you do with windows. The same for ios devices. Unfortunately some members have given up on the forum because of this issue. I am a member and I use several devices across all platforms and don't have any problens at all. As. I have said some users only have problems with our forum, they don't have any problems using other Proboard forums.

Hi,
Is there any particular page or pages which seem to trigger this more for those who are affected?
I have poked some things, please let me know how that works for you.

Hi, Is there any particular page or pages which seem to trigger this more for those who are affected? I have poked some things, please let me know how that works for you. The general consensus is from the moment they log on things run slow, creating posts, threads and uploading images. I will inform those concerned that you have "poked some things"😊. Thanks.

Could the slow down have anything to do with plugins or extentions. Some people seem to be experiencing a problem with yootil pixel depth whatever that is, I'm only the messenger😒 As Ive said before, I'm not experiencing any issues just reporting what other members are suffering from.

You could always try disabling all of the plugins and see if users are still having an issue. I have tested this every which way I know how and I'm not able to replicate any issue with any hardware or software I have available.

I have been told that 5 different PCs are showing these messages
trying to connect to..... images2.layoutsparks.com followed by connecting to..... yootil.pixeldepth.net
The users believe this where the slow down originates.

Hi,
Try disabling the Yootil Library plugin. You may also want to remove the Spell Checker plugin. It is no longer supported and redundant as all modern browsers have built-in spell check.
