forgive me, but quality > quantity. i get that numbers seem like it means appeal and longevity, and that's true to a degree, but i caution against "working members" in order to meet a statistical quota. i would rather be part of a forum -- and would be more likely to do some recruiting on my own time for said forum -- where the admin / staff encouraged us to fewer but more meaningful things over more things in order to be part of a list of "top" forums based on post count alone.

Anyone remember that bigboards site that showed the biggest forums among all platforms? That used to be cool for statistical purposes.
All forums online have great quality and community out there.

Maybe this table can also add topics and members for those who enjoy statistics. Idk how easy it is to edit a table.

Lordel, no reason to rush. Bboy just shared this at the request of the op. She mentioned it's just a collection of big forums she saw.

I shared the list at the request of the Mr. Oals. Your forum and every other forum out there are amazing and have value. I never called it a "top list" or implied that any forum not on the list didn't have value. It's just a list of the biggest forums I've seen on ProBoards and serves no other purpose. It's not a contest. We're all here to support one another.

Was a joke, i could not wish for a better forum than what i run now, the members are active and maybe some day i might get in the top 50 of this list, but for now, i take it easy.

It is indeed a good list. I hope your forum makes it, too.
However, we discourage necroposting, even in cases where a thread might be your own.
So, with that in mind, please feel free to create a thread if you find you need to ask about the list, your place in it ( or not), etc.
