That seems to work great Chris . Just a couple of questions. Where the placeholders show, alongisde one of them is a #202. Any idea what that is? I noticed it happened in your post above too. Also, when and where will the error message be displayed as I didn't see it when doing a test post? Thanks Chris Preexisting condition (was there originally in the post) I have to get to work, take this up later...
ETA:What was the content of your test post? That would would be critical needed info along with the settings in the plugin in order to determine whether there should have been a trigger at all. The error typically displays at the locations shown in the images posted in my first reply in this thread. It is a preexisting error subsystem already in use by Proboards for when you try to: submit a post without actually typing something, create a thread without filling in a subject, etc. The plugin does not exert any fine tuned positioning control only broad input element declarations and the subsystem decides where the error appears in relation to that input element (in this case the typing textarea) . There is an available positionError parameter that looks to go unused by Proboards and also by this plugin.

Hi ChrisI have set the limit to 5 video clips in the plugin and the plugin is set to all themes and to show placeholders (which it does). I did a test post, gradually adding youtube clips. I got no warning when I embedded the 6th video or subsequent clips. Another member posted 20 clips in a single post today. and the "202" that was appearing alongside one of the clips is not there in this post. Apart from that, the plug in is working perfectly. I'm just seeing no warning when compiling a post.

Hi Chris I have set the limit to 5 video clips in the plugin and the plugin is set to all themes and to show placeholders (which it does). I did a test post, gradually adding youtube clips. I got no warning when I embedded the 6th video or subsequent clips. You could embed 100 videos and get no warning because the number of videos gets checked at the time you are ready to submit the post not while you're adding them. If you added 100 videos then decided to delete 97 of them before submitting the post then you would only have 3 videos which would of course be below the 5 max you've opted for in the plugin. Another member posted 20 clips in a single post today. and the "202" that was appearing alongside one of the clips is not there in this post. The "202" was in that post on or before march 27 @ 6:46am according the timestamp on that post, that post has not been edited. Apart from that, the plug in is working perfectly. I'm just seeing no warning when compiling a post. The error typically displays at the locations shown in the images posted in my first reply in this thread. [Verification happens when you submit the post not while you are typing or clicking bbcode buttons| plugins do not yet work on mobile] This is a preexisting error subsystem already in use by Proboards for when you try to: submit a post without actually typing something in the body, create a thread without filling in a subject, etc.

This is the post from 27th March that has the 202 in it. 43tv.proboards.com/post/65149/threadThis is the post from April 1st that does not. 43tv.proboards.com/post/65409/threadThis is a post from yesterday April 2nd that also has no 202 showing. 43tv.proboards.com/post/65462/threadFully understand you now about the error warning only showing when you click to submit the post. However, I've just done a test post (now deleted) added 7 clips and clicked to submit the post and got no error warning. I'm just curious as to why the 202 is there as I'm sure a member will ask me this question at some point. As I said though, I'm happy with the way the revised plugin is working now so once again, thank you Chris. Much appreciated.
