Welcome to The Wildwood, a place of magic and wonder. The lands are overgrown with vegetation and deep with enchantment. Power and magic are overflowing from the land, some places more than others. the touch of humanity is gone, fading from history. Crumbling structures litter the vast wilderness, a relic of a time long past. It is in this sprawling expanse that the wolves make their home. Each pack is distinct with their own personalities and ways of life. The land grants some great powers, or others wings and large fangs. The packs have lived in The Wildwood for as long as they can remember. There are the wolves of the Northern Sea, selfless and stubborn, who think with their hearts more than their heads. The wolves of Blistering Sun are intense and harsh, likely to burn any who cross them. Those of Twisted Bones live within the ruins of a graveyard, caring for none with death hunting at their heels. An endless expanse of flowers is where Sundance Meadows has claimed their home. A peaceful place filled with light and laughter, yet shadows hunt at their edges. Not all decide to live within pack borders. Loners and rouges make their home within the Wildwood facing the harsh realities of life on their own. In a land filled with magic and life danger stalks within the shadows, will the packs be able to withstand it?
Running With Wolves: Rising is a fantastical, literate wolf roleplay. While many characters are completely normal, we like to embrace creativity and fantasy! Unusual fur color, eye color, wings, horns, and powers are not uncommon. RWWR is a small community right now with many experienced roleplayers. There are no character limits or sentence requirements and the admins are always open for suggestions and ideas! RWWR is welcoming to all members be them experienced roleplayers or those who are new to roleplaying. RWWR is a very accepting space with the idea that everyone is there to have fun and support each other. Our community is currently forum based with a discord server in the works! We strive to make the most out of every character and story. To ensure fairness users will only be permitted one high position (leader/beta) and one healing position (healer/healer trainee). Activity checks will be held for these positions when needed. Each pack will have their own plots that will tie into larger plots. RWWR is a place to have fun and create! Everyone has the opportunity to take part in plots and make a lasting story.
