This is how it looks when you save then view in themes and colors. That's how we wanted it. It's perfect. If we can get this right our board set up is minutes away from being done!! Pls respond asap. Now when you go to the board some of the colors vanish! THE BOARD
If all goes well and we get enough members we are definitely going to go pro. Pretty impressed with your site!

Hi It sounds like you may have more than one theme? In which case, you may have to select that theme in your profile to view it. Profile > edit profile > settings > themeEach member will have to do this if you have more than one theme. If you only want the one theme, you can disable or remove the ones you don't want. If you open up your theme manager [ admin > themes > theme manager ], you can either remove the the theme you don't want, or disable it by taking the tick out of the checkbox. Craig

i had already done all that so now i'm REALLY confused. will doublecheck and see if there's something i missed. Was wondering ...if i knew how to get into headers and footers couldn't i just change the background on the header to the green we want? Tried something else and it worked. It took out some of the icons i had uploaded but that's ok. Looks fine to me. Thanks a bunch. The support comes through here. We've had places where you wait for days.Did some looking around on my profile. Yep,sure enough. There it was. Switched to default and it's fine. Will see if we can get Portia's board the right size now and we're set. Thanks so much!
WAIT A SECOND!! why is it when i bring up the board before logging in it says welcome guest and it's that same crappy looking white background in the header and the icons are back-the SAME thing i thought i had gotten rid of.

It definitely sounds like you have more than one theme, which is why you are seeing different icons and images when logged out as to when you are logged in. Could you go in to your theme manager:
Admin > Themes > Theme manager
How many themes do you have listed there?
And more importantly, do you want to have more than one theme or do you want EVERYONE to view the same theme?

One theme.I want everyone to see the same board. in fact i scrapped the theme i started with (frustration)and have this one ALMOST done. Except for a few outstanding issues. It's STILL that grey background and with green it just doesn't work. Want to change the background to white.There's one other thing i would like to do and can't figure out how. Has to do with the banner. Our Logo is centered on the banner. That's fine. I'd like to ADD an IMAGE to the left side of it. Finally,the banner and the bar under it are the full width of the forum. It'd look a heck of a lot better if all the widths were the same. How on earth can it be done? That's it and it's finally done; we can start moving people over from our 'old' board.

It sounds like the header and navigation tree have been moved outside of the wrapper.
If you go to Admin Home > Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper template and look for the <div id="wrapper"> and move it, so that it is above the <header> tag, this will fix the problem of things being full width of the browser window.

1st ratzpack can we make sure that you are 'on the same theme as the guest one'! In Profile > Edit Profile > Settings Tab > Forum Theme needs to be the same as the Default theme in Admin Home > Themes > Theme Manager. I say this because the below code is from your currently guest viewable theme and the navigation section is ABOVE the <div id="wrapper"> tag. Also what is the <div id="top-portion"> for ?? <div id="top-portion"> <header> <div id="banner-container" role="banner" style="position:static;"> <h2 id="banner"> <a id="logo" href="/"><img src="//storage.proboards.com/7131231/images/JNMRHmnakwjiHpPYWcSS.png" alt="Catholicmilitant" title="Catholicmilitant" /></a> </h2> </div> <a id="navigation-skip" href="#content" accesskey="s" class="aria-hidden" title="Skip Navigation">Skip Navigation</a> <a href="#" accesskey="d" title="Open Menu" onclick="proboards.hotkeys.activate(Keys.d); return false;"></a> <div id="navigation-menu" class="ui-helper-clearfix"> <ul role="navigation"> <li class="state-active"> <a href="/"> Home </a> </li> <li> <a href="/help"> Help </a> </li> <li> <a href="/search"> Search </a> </li> </ul> <p id="welcome"> Welcome Guest. Please <a href="https://login.proboards.com/login/7131231/1">Login</a> or <a href="https://login.proboards.com/register/7131231">Register</a>. </p> </div> </header> </div>
<div id="wrapper">

To help you find your way go to the following places. Go to Profile > Edit Profile > Settings Tab > Forum Theme box and write down the name of the theme showing at that location! Then go to Admin Home > Themes > Theme Manager and write down the name of the theme that is Default! Then compare the two names and make sure they are the same, if they are differnet, (which I feel is the case), go back to your profile and change the theme, so they match up. The code I posted is from using the 'View Page Source' in Firefox and is NOT CSS, it will be in Admin Home > Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper template, (for the theme which is currently set to default in the Theme Manager).
