I'm obsessed with the food-related ones like Magic Bullet, Nutri Bullet, and those omelet makers. What about you?

Some ads are entertaining I wish youtube would step it up with ads and not just show crappy mobile games or a 30 minute long ad on this pill saved my life or buy this book. If they displayed useful products it would be more enjouable

I wouldn't mind them if they weren't the same information repeated every five minutes. If it was new information or new testimonials, I probably could enjoy them more.

Absolute nope from me. Almost every single one I've seen has been either part of a scam, a scam itself, or extremely bad value. Infomercials also often use misleading statements on the products being advertised.

Infomercials also often use misleading statements on the products being advertised. Agreed. They're definitely not the ads of the past. Now, there's at least 10 lines of very small text at the bottom of the ad, saying things like, "ordering this signs you up for recurring payments," or it states that the product advertised in no way is meant to cure, treat, etc any condition, even though they say it will in the actual ad.

There's also a good amount of infomercials that attracted lawsuits from the FTC for the misleading and scam tactics.

"Amazing Discoveries" are definitely among my favorite infomercials of all time. They were so entertaining, I enjoyed them like a regular TV show, but I didn't call the number on the screen though. Now tons of informercials are available through streaming sites ( streamingsites.com/)

I used to watch the Time Life CD collection infomercials like they were the only thing on TV. I don't know if it was just because it was music, or if it was because I knew the celebrity they brought for it. I just liked watching them.
