Living in western Colorado now. Iowa is my home state and I can't figure out where that is in the video. Looks more like a desert than anything I remember from passing through Iowa. I've been to lots of places is Eastern Colorado and ski resorts on the eastern slope of the Rockies. Never been to Western Colorado, though. Telluride was on my skiing bucket list but it was too long of a weekend road trip from Cheyenne. Western Colorado has a natural beauty and the Colorado National Monument is beautiful. I really like the weather here; close to the Utah border. Much better than the cold winters of Iowa and hot humidity during the summer. Those are beautiful areas that you visited in Colorado, Retread.

We generally saved our pennies during the off-season for skiing during the winter and spring. But plenty of day trips on Saturdays to Estes Park and similar places in Colorado during the spring and summer. I just couldn't get over the thought of walking through snow up in the mountains, wearing just short sleeves in the spring. In Michigan all the snow is gone before the weather warms up that much. The sun was brutal in summer, but the humidity was so low that 95 degrees didn't feel bad at all if you weren't in the sun. We didn't drip sweat. It evaporated so quickly. Our skin would turn white from the salt left behind. I would guess it's much the same where you are now. The winter winds could wreak havoc during the winter on the high plains. Six inches of snow could easily turn into twelve foot drifts. I think which season you like depends a lot on what there is to do during the various seasons in your location.

Any idea where in Iowa this is supposed to be? Riverside, Iowa. I cheated and googled it. I've been to Riverside and I don't recognize that area.

Was it anything even close to that arid desert sort of look? To me that screams Arizona or Nevada or something? Me as well! Hey Dazzal , I did some research. The 'Iowa' scene was meant to represent Riverside IA (in the future) but the filming location was somewhere near Bakersfield CA. www.imdb.com/title/tt0796366/locationsI reckon wildmaven might have been to that area.

Not in a vehicle like that... I imagined Knightly Celt having a vehicle like that as a daily driver. Maybe he wrecked it in his younger days before you met him? Hey wait a minute. His name is Jim, right? The plot thickens ...

No, it's SHOUTING. Ah, I see the disconnect here. You were referring to wildmaven 's signature, not Knightly Celt (who has no signature)
