So, I'm looking for something sleek to use for forum icons - mainly after I changed the skin for my forum again. Nothing too crazy. Because people on my forum had no clue what I was really looking for (they thought avatar, instead)... I turn to you guys.
In Layman's terms: My skin is reflected around the theme of game shows. The main game show I'm focusing on is Jeopardy!.
The goal is to come up with "new posts" and "no new posts" icons. I'm looking for a font similar to what they use on the show in any capacity. I found a whole article online with what fonts they use (similar to or the actual ones), but you have to pay for them. If there are any free alternatives, please use them.
I was thinking that the icons I'm looking for possibly look similar to the Swiss 911 font, for the dollar values on the board. I've narrowed the colors down to #D69F4C, and an outline of something darker (haven't tackled that yet). That could be for the new posts. The old posts could be grayscaled? I don't know; I'm thinking out loud.
If anyone wants to help a graphically-challenged person out, please and thank you in advance.
