I would like to request that we could enter specific metadata keywords into the plugin key that is used on the backend to populate it with data. This way we can populate the key with accurate data that we can then use in the plugin. Some plugins have to do guess work and extra steps, this would reduce that and make plugins much more reliable. Example: pb.plugin.key("latest_threads").push({
metadata: "thread_id",
});
pb.plugin.key("latest_threads").push({
metadata: ["thread_id", "thread_title"]
}); The key data could then look like this: [{ thread_id: 123, thread_title: "A cool title for my thread" }] This should not be locked into what type of key is being used. A plugin may wish to store recently updated threads in a super forum key. So I think it should be route checked instead. So if we are submitting the "post" form, then metadata keywords would get picked up, otherwise just ignored. A list of metadata keywords could easily be put together by some of us here if this is considered.
