….That's a ton. Im in Law Enforcement and that looked like a list of items in my police car. lol After having been in NY during 9/11, the multi-state power outage along the east coast, and our town's 6.4 and 7.1 magnitude earthquakes last July, I'm happy I have all that in there. It's also come in handy when I'm the first person to encounter an automobile accident or someone breaking down in Death Valley and needing water/shade/first aid.

Glad you help others, we need more of that in this world.

I always keep some kind of liquid in my car, as well as a flash light, some otc medicine never know when you'll have a break down. I do need to invest in some jumper cables and first aid kit though. I am, comparatively, minimalistic as far as what I keep in my truck. I keep hand sanitizer (I did this before the pandemic, to be fair), pens, and a notebook up front. And tucked away in my handy floor storage bins I have some basic tools and ratchet straps. Rather than jumper cables I'd recommend getting a jump box. A lot of people these days aren't apt to stop and just let you hook up to their vehicle for a jump start. And you are strictly reliant upon a good samaritan allowing you to do so. Jump boxes, though, are usable by yourself, actually easier to do, and good ones will show you the voltage of your battery (allowing you to see if it's actually the battery that's a problem).

-four-way lug wrench -flashlight -duct tape (never know when or what you will need it for) -insurance card and current registration -jack -jumper cables

I inherited my dad's Ford Ranger, he passed away in January. It's filled with all kinds of things, but I still haven't been able to bring myself to go through any of it. I have left it exactly how he had it.....just feels wrong to change anything. I'm sure it's stocked with all kinds of necessary and helpful items: tools, paper towels, various vehicle fluids, cables, etc.
