Can you track a Fedex truck? I just had a random guy drive into my yard wanting to know how long ago the FedEx driver was here? He was about to pull off until I confronted him. I asked him why he needed to know that and he said because it showed my house as the last GPS location for the FedEx driver. My house is down a rock road about a half a mile with other houses too, so how did the guy know I was the one the FedEx driver went to? I am wondering now if he is just stocking the truck trying to steal packages are something?

Hopefully the guy was legit and not just following the truck trying to steal packages.

Does this mean anyone who downloads this and is on the same route as the driver that is delivering me a package, will know it? They will be able to follow the drivers route and steal all of the packages from each customers doorstep?

I don't know how fedex actually tracks, but when i'm waiting and tracking an Amazon delivery, the only thng i see on the map is "where the driver is" and how many stops before it gets to me However, i think that only when the driver registers that the package has been delivered, it shows their new position. Basicaally the driver is showing at a previous address when they are knocking at my door, once the package is delivered, i can no longer track.

I can only see that the tracking says it was loaded on the truck that morning and they have until like 8pm to drop it off.

I think Patrick [ASE] is in the UK.

They will be able to follow the drivers route and steal all of the packages from each customers doorstep? SenseAware is a premium service feature. If I understand correctly, when someone pays extra for this feature, their package will have GPS tracking in real time. But only the person who paid for the service will be able to get that level of updating on their own package.

It doesn't happen with EVER delivery, not sure if it's onnly 'Amazon logistics', you normally see the vertical tracking line to say if it's been dispatched etc, but later when you visit the page it shows a map with the location, the map only shows when they are close enough to your location i think. And as retread said, i'm in the UK.

Update: So the FedEx driver came again today so I asked him if it was possible if someone could track the FedEx truck as I had a guy come down here like 10 minutes after he left looking for him. He told me it was his supervisor that was tracking him for some reason. Just glad thats all it was I didn't want anyone snooping around trying to steal something.
