Forum URL: (private) Hi, I have just setup a new forum and disabled registration. I tried sending out the invitation emails for the members to join. However there seems to be some problem. I have sent the emails to 3 different domains, @yahoo.com.sg, gmail.com and @outlook.com. No email was received for the 1st 2 (yahoo and gmail), but the 3rd (outlook) is ok. I have checked the spam folders for yahoo and gmail but no invites was received. Could you please assist? Thanks

Hi,
Just for clarity, are you having issues with members receiving Activation emails (emails with the code to confirm their email address after they have registered) or are you having issues with members receiving Invite emails (emails that you send from the Login and Registration section of the admin panel with an invite key to the forum)?
If you're referring to the member invite emails then the problem is with your email account. Unfortunately Yahoo blocks sending mail in the manner that the member invite emails work. If you switch to a non-Yahoo email account (Gmail, etc.) you should encounter no further issue.

Hi,
I am referring to "members receiving Invite emails (emails that you send from the Login and Registration section of the admin panel with an invite key to the forum)"
So you mean for this, I should change my admin user to use a gmail account instead of a yahoo account? Or that I use a different user with admin rights that use a gmail account to send the invite emails?

fumoffu, the email address was in our do not send list. This mostly happens if the email gets bounced back to us. If there's an issue with delivering an email (depending on the circumstances) our system automatically adds the address to our don't send list.
