Tap water. Sweet, clean, cold and fresh here in Scotland.

I drink from the tap. Our water supply comes from a few different local clean rivers that are checked frequently for contaminates. The company that monitors it, does pretty good on making sure nothing toxic gets into the supply. Though we do have a water softener, due to some hard water build up. The source of our tap water is the Great Lakes. It's been dependable and clean. No need for softening here. Just curious, do you have the softened water for most of the household uses and a non-softened supply for drinking?

Yeah, the water softener runs for appliances, showering, etc., while we drink the non-softened tap. Basically 1 pipe inside the house that doesn't have the salt run through it.

Yeah, I was going to suggest that but you're already there. I drank from a softened water supply one time and it wasn't palatable.

Regular old tap water (Have to drink a fir bit due to my kidneys anyway), but like Craig , it's too hard so I use bottles and store it in the fridge and have it chilled as regular tap just tastes bleurgh to me.
