As mentioned above, get a decent lint roller. I work at a vets and also own disabled cats that can’t groom themselves properly and we swear by them

I reckon that would work a treat. But the cat might need sunscreen afterward.

We have 3 cats & a dog & pet fur is just the norm. But we don't wear black clothes for that reason! I can see your job requiring it. I agree with the lint roller, sticky tape. Another thing you can do is maybe keep those clothes at your job? They'd get less fur on them & then you can use the lint roller for touch-ups.

We use these little tacky paw-pads when washing and drying our clothes. They're always pretty full of fur when we finish a load of laundry, so I'd say they work pretty well. I don't remember where we got ours from. I'm pretty sure Amazon sells something similar (because that's what Amazon do), but I think we got ours at Petco or Petsmart. Attachments:

Any have any tips on getting pet hair out in the washing machine? New job requires all black and well I have a white cat so I used to wear black pants to work and Darby sheds white hair like crazy. I would never get dressed until I was just about to leave, and then try not to get close to him as I left. Then, when I got home, I'd change clothes and put my work clothes in a SEPARATE basket from my regular clothes. That way, all the hair that I'd get on my regular clothes would have no way of getting on the black clothes which were washed separately. I always kept a lint roller in my locker at work, just in case some random hairs hitched a ride. That's really cool, I'd never seen that before.

To be honest, I just accept I’ll be covered in cat hair. I use a lint roller before anything more formal like interviews, and tumble drying helps too.

+1 to getting a lint roller and stock piling the adhesive replacements. I fostered two husky mutts with thick white fur and it was the only thing I could do. I vacuumed every day, lint-rolled the furniture every other day, but I still had to lint-roll myself before going into work. I kept them in my desk at work and I kept a portable handheld vacuum in the car. The things we do for pets.

I looked it up since I have 5 cats and wear a lot of black and Amazon DOES carry many types of lint removers for you washer! Look under - lint remover for washer and dryer. I was amazed! Thanks for the idea, I had never heard of these things!

She has her 'blow-outs' in the spring & summer. I can stand there for literally hours pulling out the loose fur lol I do brush her but that too, I can be there for hours!
