In Belgium there are a lot of Anti Vaxxers, even doctors apparently. But where would we be without all the vaccines we get as children? Imagine all those deseases still being around...

Iโd be interested to know what research those who have voted for that option have done, and why their conclusions are different to the experts in vaccinology, virology, clinical trials, data analysis, public health and medical regulation. I think the vaccine effort seems to be going pretty well in the UK still. All targets being met, and I know quite a lot of people who have had it now. Canโt wait for my 2nd dose in April! Iโll also quite happily have a booster later in the year should they have to update it for the South Africa strain. I prefer to "not" share my research, as it's a personal matter. I don't try to convince people/members one way or another. I do what is right for me. I have seen responses on other forums, where members try to make each other wrong concerning the vaccines, and I don't go for that. Not saying you would do that, it's just how I feel.

Got my first jab yesterday, so it should be around May for my second. Was really feeling the after effects this morning though.

Had my first vaccine last week. I can't wait for my second. It's the only way out of this nightmare.

I'm in Ohio, USA. I pay so little attention to the news that I wasn't even aware of the vaccines. My daughter works at Kroger (grocery store) but hasn't mentioned anything about it. I don't have insurance and I don't have a job either for that matter. I'm allergic to entirely too many things and have major skin issues so I doubt I'll be one even allowed to get the vaccine, at least not for a very long time. I don't go out much since I tend to stay sick (colds and/or bronchitis usually being the reason) more often than not which more or less means I sleep a lot and have a fever at least once or twice a month. (fever never lasts more than a day or so) I've been like this since before COVID though. *shrugs* I have my good days as well as the bad ones. I don't get the flu shot, not even the free one since I always end up with the flu when I do but never have it when I don't. Makes no sense to me. I spend enough time sick so I tend to avoid things that make me sick. Anyone having a link for Ohio relating to the COVID vaccine, please post it so I can read and catch up on things. As to wearing a mask.. I hated wearing one at first because I struggled to breath in it but got used to it after awhile. Now its just part of my wardrobe. I'll continue to stay inside as much as possible because the last thing I want to do is get someone else sick or myself sick for that matter. #LookingForwardToTheDayLifeCanGetBackToNormal

Well, Connecticut has a new vaccine plan: Starting this Monday, March 1, people aged 55-64 (including my mom) will get vaccinated, followed by the 45-54 group on March 22, then the 35-44 group (that's me!) on April 12, and finally those aged 16-34 on May 3. Nice!

Nice! Yes we do have a plan ( I'm from CT too!)- and I'm in the next up group...but aren't we having teachers and other front-line workers go ahead of us? Sorry I haven't read the newspaper yet this AM so I'm not up on the new news.

In the UK theyโve decided that itโs more efficient to continue going by age group rather than prioritising certain professions, like teachers. I tend to agree. The faster they can get everyone done, the better, and teachers with particular risk factors will get it anyway.

Got my first dose of Pfizer last week. Scheduled for my second dose in a couple of weeks. I should be immune by mid April! Yeah, I know there are variants, but I will be feeling a lot safer very soon.

I'm not sure really. I'd normally support something like this and be first in line. It just seems kind of fast, can we really know all the effects of something that they pushed out in so little time? Until I know more i'm not going to make a firm decision either way. I might wait and see how things go once more people get it. Wearing masks and washing hands seems to be doing alright for me so far.*knocks on wood*

Not even a sore arm for a few days, as one family member said he had.
