Forum URL: Prosportsrivals.comHi i have 2 accounts on my forum. One is my admin account and the other is a regular member account. Id like to slide my admin email into that 2nd account. This way i can continue to use my ad free service associated with that email. Is this possible?

Hi You can unlink and link forum accounts to a global account. So if you log in to the global account you want to move the account from, and go to the account settings page. www.proboards.com/account/settingsYou should see an option to Unlink Forum Account. Select the account you wish to move and follow the instructions. Once it is unlinked, log out of that global account and log in to the global account you want to link it to. Head to your forum and click on the icon in the bottom right corner. This should take you to the switch account page. Towards the bottom of that page, you will see a link to Link another forum account. Click on that link and you will be invited to enter the username and password for the account you want to link. Once you have done that, both accounts should then be under the same email. If you run in to any problems, let us know.

Let us know how you get on, or if you run in to any problems For some reason i just couldn't do it. Kept saying my password was wrong. At any rate i just went ahead and picked up the ad free for the email i wanted to change. That personal account is my daily driver. I used to use my admin account to post. Now i leave that alone and just use a regular account. Took my credit card off the link to the admin account email and added it to my new account. That works for me. I will say this....and its likely i need to use a new thread here for this....but i created a group named special and i added basic mod functions to that account. I put my account in that group but i cant seem to use those features. Like moving threads and editing them etc.
