When I get an email to authorise a new member the name of the forum in the email looks like it should be a link (which would be very helpful) but when I click on it nothing happens.

megblack05 , the forum name in the email is an active link. This part of the email message, right? If the link doesn't work, it may be a setting with your email program or browser - depending how you access your emails.

Links normally work for other things.

Hi,
What happens when you click the link?

Since the OP has not replied, I will. I also use a Mac and use the Mail app.
When I get a Proboards notification email, and I go to the forum name in that email, my cursor changes from the default arrow to a finger. When I click the link (as the OP mentioned above) nothing at all happens.
When I right-click, I get the usual "Open Link - Open Link Behind Mail - Open With - Copy Link" options but none of them behave as expected.
Other links in the email do work properly, just not the one featuring the forum name. I hope this helps you sort this out.

You're welcome. 😀
I hadn't tried clicking in that particular portion of a Proboards email before so I didn't know about the issue until the OP posted this. (My version of MacOS is completely up to date, in case you need that info).

I'll see if there is anything we can do to fix this.

We've figured out the cause of the issue (surprise, it's Apple being weird) and have filed a bug to find a solution.
