Portal Like This?

Absolutely! You can do it via the Custom Page option your panel. There are a variety of options for layouts / widgets you can use, and you can add in custom HTML and CSS as you need as well.

I recommend playing around with a custom page to see what options you have, and then if you still need help getting it the way you want, we'll be able to provide that assistance (:

Can you be more descriptive? What winds up happening? Please remember, we cannot see the same things you see, so "it won't work" tells us absolutely nothing.

If you don't want to try and troubleshoot, and you have confirmed to yourself that it "doesn't work", then the answer quite simply is "no, this isn't possible". If your plugins render custom pages unusable, then there isn't a way to create a portal because all additions that will have to be made will have to fight your plugins.

Graphics as "Border" & "Header" plug ins...

They won't "compartmentalize" as they are being told to "frame" the forum.

So you hit compartmentalize on widgets and you get "shiite" tons of graphics over riding each other and going clear across the page....

And I can't code....So trying to HTML/CSS box each "section" I want would take FOREVER....bleh!

Again, you don't HAVE to use the widgets, you can use custom HTML if you need it that is compatible with what you're using. So if you want that option you have it available. All of it depends on how much effort you're willing to expend. If you're looking for a quick fix, plug and play option, you won't get it since your plugins aren't compatible with those options.

I know that, what do you think I am here for? :P I'm trying to help you but getting information is like pulling teeth. You have to be more forthcoming and willing to explore avenues and explain yourself more.

To much to do...I have "look" of:

Left Column:

Navigation
Calendar

My Assistant

Donations

Center Column:

4 Forums/seperate boxes/2 most recent threads complete in first 2...Just thread titles in last 2

Right Column:

Quick Log In

My Profile
Forum Statistics


Each would have to be coded, then all the "graphics" header, lt & rt sides, bottom border...oh, and the news would have to "auto" adjust the graphics based on thread lengths....

All links, all information pulled properly, and for "forums" the "latest" each new post to auto update portal...

In essence, it's a fast forum glance without entering it...



So no, I will due without. That's to much for someone to code, and have to "adjust" to get correct with a theme that already makes things hard.
