Forum URL: animationlessons.proboards.com/Good evening Support Helpers. I don't often check the security logs because other than myself we only have one other member who has the capabilities to even view it. And she doesn't do anything there. Anyone, a member commented on another members posted graphic. I was on the thread about 5 minutes later and didn't see a posts from the member who posted the graphic. So I went to the security logs and there was nothing there about a post being deleted. There were quite a few edits from another member who needed to correct some things on his graphic and then he forgot something else. so they are all there. But nothing from the member "Angel" who was supposed to have deleted a post. Since it was a real short comment, I asked the commenter (in a PM) if I had misunderstood or what because I didn't see anything in the logs about a deleted post. She is not only a long time member by s person I have met on various occasions and I trust her completely. Was this a glitch or are only some deleted posts in the security log. I did see others. (Oct 16) Maybe a recent glitch? Thanks for any information.

Hi,
I'm not quite following along here:
Where did you see the comment? A notification? The thread was bumped?
If you don't see a delete in the log that means nothing was deleted. I've never encountered an issue with the security log ever being inaccurate.

LOL after I was writing this entire saga, I went back to the PM and got to the last one that was posted since I had been there. The comment was actually in error as what she had commented on was not something in her post by her signature tag.
Sorry for confusing you as I was confused myself. Guess the reason for my not finding the delete in the files was because there wasn't one.
Question resolved. And I apologize for the confusion.

No problem! I was just trying to figured out what happened because I've never heard of the security log failing before. Glad it's resolved.
