Some days a few notifications come through and other days none at all. It is very sporadic if and when the email notifications are received. She does not have the emails going into the spam folder either, because she checks that regularly as well. Please can anyone help us with this matter? Thank you!

Hello i'm the member Shaliza has been trying to help with this matter which is ongoing and has been for qjuite a while I had a couple of days last week when I received daily update notifications from all forums of which i'm a member which then reduced to two and now it's back to none or one if i'm lucky which as you can imagine is frustrating.
Also i'm logged out of all forums every day for some reason and cannot always log back in.
I'd be grateful for any help please.

Maybe we can help decipher if they are getting blocked before they even reach you.

Hi,
After some back and forth with the systems team about this I can confirm that we are sending mail to you successfully. It looks like something on your email providers end is causing whatever issue is occurring. My current best guesses are that the emails are being sent and then are being "queued" for delivery by your mail provider OR they're being sent and then something further downstream (before reaching your email inbox) is rejecting them. I would suggest trying to switch email providers or contacting your provider to find out what the issue is.

Hi, If you're using the "Remember Me" feature there is nothing on our end that would log you out. You are only logged out when the cookie saved in your browser is expired or removed. I'm guessing the "Queued for Delivery" response we're receiving from your email provider is why there is inconsistencies. We're attempting to figure out if there is anything they're doing to specifically mishandle mail sent from our servers.

I'm not understanding the 'queued for delivery' explanation, as ALL other email is successfully delivered, it's only Proboards notifications which aren't consistently delivered. Today, all daily notifications arrived as used to be the case and as they have been until recently, using the same server since I first registered in 2017.

When we send email to your address from our email server we receive a response "queued for delivery" from the receiving server.
Most email responses are simple "received" or "sent ok". What happens with mail once it leaves our mail server successfully is beyond our control. It seems likely to me that there is some additional issue, like your mail provider regulating how often you're allowed to receive mail from our address because of mail volume.
We've set up additional logging to see if we can get clearer records of why servers downstream from us are bouncing the email.

Hello Again,
I'm posting because this issue is ongoing although intermittent. Strangely on the days when Shaliza of All Kinds of Everything posts everything comes through successfully but unless she does i'm still not receiving daily notifications from any of the forums I belong to.
Is there anything you can do please.

Hi,
I checked back in on this and we're still seeing a similar response in the email log. My best guess is that your email provider is somehow limiting the volume of mail that you receive from ProBoards (noreply@proboards.com). I would check into whitelisting email addresses (specifically noreply@proboards.com) for your provider and see what options are available as that may resolve the issue.
