BusyMother , you're using Firefox, right? Can you see if you have this issue when you use a different browser?
Yes let me get that checked. I will also remove all add ons and place one bvy one back on and test as well.

I have tried to remove each add on and place it back on and it is not that.
I think it may be Firefox.
What I have found is, if I go to a thread first thing in the day, it does not scroll down to the first unread post. However after I do scroll and read. I leave to move one and when I return later and there is a post it will go there. I am testing the same few (as well as other) thread to be consistent.

Does that consistency carry on to the next day or is it getting reset every day?

Resets the next day. However I am checking it now and it appears to be working (at the moment). Give me a little more time to test it today. I will report back. Thanks so much.

I was hoping but it is not working. Do not go crazy over this. If I have to I will try to get used to it.

I've tried another fix that may or may not make things worse before it fixes them. Threads you visit now SHOULD remember where you were but please let me know if this has worked or not.

Hi,
Is Firefox updated to it's latest version? This issue somehow seems to be related to Firefox but I haven't been able to replicate an issue in my version.

I totally believe that this is happening so I don't really need a video of it as that won't really help us diagnose the problem at all. Since this seems to be limited to just the Firefox browser I'm guessing that there is a setting or option or extension or theme or something related to the browser that is the cause. I'm also sure that I'm having no issue with this in my version of Firefox (as far as I have been able to test) so that leads me to believe that it is something that can be resolved, I just have no idea which direction to have you test in. I would try running through your Firefox settings and see if anything related to anchor links or link handling or privacy controls have any effect on this.

I will play around. I did restart FF with all add ons disabled and it is still happening so I need to go thru all the option to see if I can figure it out. If and when I do I will let you know.
Thank you so much

I believe I figured it out although it only happens on my forum ... A FF Theme was enabled and once I disabled it I was able to go to the first unread post. I tired with a few different ones. Some work and some do not. While I disabled all add ons and tried it, it did not disable the theme. Oh well, I have it corrected (or so I think:D )
