What is yours?
Mashed potatoes? Stuffing? Corn? Something else? Cream of spinach?
I love mashed sweet potatoes with marshmallows and cinnamon.

I love mashed sweet potatoes with marshmallows and cinnamon. Marshmallows would be too sweet for my tastes but cinnamon sounds interesting. I sometimes mash up the sweet potatoes on my plate with some sour cream, then salt and pepper. And that does tend to be my most favorite Thanksgiving side. However, dinner rolls fresh out of the oven with some butter rates a close second for me.

Does gravy count? I mean it is the panacea of sides. You can put it on almost anything, and it makes even the least desirable side taste better.

Jellied cranberry sauce. Everything tastes better when accented by it!
Yeah, I know, Knightly Celt is a bit off. Then again, what else can you expect from someone whose favorite sandwhich is balogna, cheese, and jelly on sourdough bread?

Apparently the bologna, cheese, and jelly base is covered. lol

Depends on what is being had at any one I attend.
I'm partial to mashed potatoes covered in noodles. But I love dinner rolls too.

I'm partial to mashed potatoes covered in noodles. I've never heard of anyone combining them. Sounds as odd as my friend who would make stuffing sandwiches on the day after Thanksgiving.

It happened a lot on my mother's side, but not so much on my dad's or my wife's sides of the family. It's a good mix, especially if the noodles aren't too runny. I like corn on my mashed potatoes too, but noodles are always the winner if we have them. I have never heard of stuffing sandwiches.

Hey HoudiniDerek, What are the noodles? Just flat egg noodles with a simple sauce like butter/garlic/salt/pepper or Stuffing sandwiches are just two slices of bread with a schmere of mayo and a lot of turkey stuffing in between. So basically bread on bread.
