Is there a way for me to determine which users accessed "something" in my forum? Let me explain. Let's say I'm hosting some sort of trivia contest. In this contest, I plan to give hints/clues but these hints/clues cost points. I want to know which users accessed these hints/clues so that I can deduct these points from their respective accounts during this contest.
The way I'm planning to do this NOW is, if someone wants hints/clues, they simply PM me and I give it to them. I'll also know which users asked for the hints/clues (because I have the PMs). But the problem is, I can't be sitting by the computer all day. I want to automate this process so that I "place" the hints/clues somewhere and if the users go to this "somewhere," they can pick up the hints/clues themselves. I don't have to actually be there, but at least I'll have some record of which users picked up the hints/clues. I'm thinking there has to be some elegantly simple way to do this.
