Among Us

I brought this up briefly in the Discord PB chat the other day, but does anybody play Among Us? I just started playing a couple days ago, and since then, my life now consists of using the word “sus” in my everyday vocab, and being yelled at by 9 year olds getting mad at me.

ANYWAY, I’ve been badgering Cheat about possibly creating a PBS Among Us room (possibly with Discord voice in background?), and playing with anyone who’d be interested in playing a game or two, this Saturday. If there’s enough real interest, I’ll set up a time and date, and I’ll find some way to organise the thing!

Let me know or be squuuuuuuare. (That’s the correct phrasing, right?)

EDIT: so this is my second time making this thread, because I apparently have no life skills and messed up making the poll before. So if you’re seeing this the second time...forgive me.

I’m not sure I’d be able to play at the times best for Americans, particularly not this Saturday, but I may join you at some point in the future if you get something regular going. I’ve started playing with my d&d group and it is good fun...just very very infuriating. We have someone who claims to have seen me do it all the time, even when they aren’t the imposter themselves and have no evidence that it’s me 😂

I'd love to play! As long as people are cool and we have voice, I think it'd be lots of fun.

It's short for suspect, which is a common term in Among Us for those who are suspected of being the impostor or are being suspicious.

If it makes you feel any better, the first time I was the Imposter, I got caught out within the first 20 seconds, because I had no idea what was happening.

A massive part of the fun is when you’re a “ghost”, and you’re reading how the imposter is trying to trick everyone!

We've actually got 4 people on my forum that have this. If you're interested, feel free to PM me and I can give you a link to the forum (it's against the rules to post it here). I've actually got a couple of boards set up just for Among Us.

I'd recommend Googling CORPSE on YouTube. Guy does awesome as an imposter - mostly "eh" as a crewmate. I think the guy was born to be an imposter. I watch him to get ideas!

EDIT: We typically use Steam chat instead of Discord, though. Saves on comp resources since Steam is already running.

I watched one video on your recommendation, and I can’t get over the voice he uses.

Also, I’m ideally looking to make a room with 10 people, so I’m just gonna say that if you are definitely interested to join, send me a quick PM confirming you’re in for tomorrow, rough time of 5pm EST time.!
