What's your favorite travel destination?

You're allowed to travel anywhere you like.

Which country would you pick?

I would go to Australia.  (hopefully in 2 years this will really happen)

I would pick a place I have never gone, like Iceland.

If I had to choose a place I had been before, I'm thinking that I would go to Luxembourg City.

Nice idea for a thread, tvfans.

My favorite travel destination would be Hawaii. I've been to Kauai and Maui, but I would like to visit all the islands.

Another must for me is Santorini, Greece. All my friends who visited can't stop raving about it and it seems beautiful from the pictures.

I thought about going to Iceland last year, but prices were very high.

Hawaii would be too warm for me, I'm not good with very warm weather.

Haven't been to Santorini, but I did go to Crete in what seems a lifetime ago.  It was nice, but too warm for me lol

My favorite destination is Morro Bay, CA or Kauai. Both are my happy places, where I feel the most at peace. Out of all the islands, Kauai is my favorite so far, as I felt that they were happy to see me, rather than happy to see my money like on the Big Island. Morro Bay is where I go to unwind. Watching the sea otters and bird life just makes me happy.

I would love to go to New Zealand or the Galapagos Islands, but I can't call them a favorite destination, as I've never been.

I've never been outside of the northeastern U.S., but I would love to go to northern Alaska or Nunavut. I was actually considering planning a summer trip to Alaska this year until... yeah.

Tokyo. There are many other places I’d love to go in Japan, but I can’t wait to go back to Tokyo. I have plans to visit in 2023, so I’m hoping international travel is a bit more normal by then.

To be honest, right now I’d settle for staying in a hotel anywhere just for a change of scenery.

I’ve done my share of static caravan holidays at British seaside resorts as a child. Good memories, but I can afford hotels now 😂

And since I don’t drive, it’s not like I can have my own mobile caravan!

Ironically, when I looked in the spring 2019, I thought they were more reasonable than Europe proper.

Maybe cause I don't have to look at flights for Euope.  I can take my car for most places.

I was looking at flights and tours to see as much as possible and added up, it was very costly compared to other destinations.

In the end I didn't end up going anywhere cause I had bought a new car and this year cause of Covid.

Fingers crossed next year I'll get to plan something again.
