Is there a plugin "select message participants from groups" or something like that? based on this description alone, no, but could you elaborate more in what you're looking to do?

Normal members do not have the ability to easily spam groups of people on the forum The admin of the forum however does have the ability to mass PM and can designate others as well by making them leaders of a group (so they can mass PM the group they lead)

I believe sufficient member group permissions also allow this, no? The Mass PM: Member Group Power under the heading Members will allow members of the group to access the Send to Groups or Send to All in the dropdown. But one should be cautious about who they put in a group with that power. And I'm not certain that is even what the ThreadStarter is requesting. Is there a plugin " select message participants from groups" or something like that? I'm not sure what you're asking for ... The ability to send to all members of a specific group or groups? The ability to select individual members from a list that's comprised of members of a specific group? But I don't think a plugin could be created to do either of those things.

When you select gruop and send message, you send that message for all group members. But I request plugin that can select group and by checkboxes select members from that group and they will be added to message participants.

When you select gruop and send message, you send that message for all group members. But I request plugin that can select group and by checkboxes select members from that group and they will be added to message participants. The essence of that is on variations of the Member List. If you happen to know the ProBoards Coder on the Support Forum is group 34, you can use a link like this to take you to the Member List for just that group: ProBoards Coder ProBoards CoderThat page will look like this: If you then select (tick the checkboxes) the desired members (indicated by the red arrows on the left), click Actions, and click Send Message in the dropdown, the new page it sends you to would look like this: Those four members are on the Recipients section of the PM. Just enter a subject and type the message. All four members will receive it. The Problem:How to create a popup that has links to Member Lists all the various groups on a particular forum? I don't know if that would be possible while staying within the Developer Guidelines. It might be necessary for the plugin to use an autoform on the settings tab, where the name for each link and the group number is manually entered. That would be rather clumsy for the person setting up the plugin. And each time a new group is created, the settings page of the plugin would need to be updated. Maybe one of the more proficient coders like Chris might have some ideas. idk.
