How do you apply a name color to members who are not in a group? Their profile should display their rank by default, so I don't want to auto-add them to a group upon joining. Just to affect a default / catch-all member name color.

Hi lyndswins If you add this to the bottom of your Style Sheet it will color the display names of all members who are NOT in a group: /* Color display names for MEMBERS who are not in a group */ a.js-user-link{ color:DarkGoldenRod; } /* End of Section */ You can define the color by name or hex value or rgb, etc. www.w3schools.com/colors/default.aspIf you wish to color guest names you can also add this to the bottom of the Style Sheet: /* Color GUEST names */ span.user-guest{ color:#888888 } /* End of Section */ In this case, I defined the color as a hex value (#888888) which would be a medium gray.

thank you! Do you know if there's a way to do that in the forum stats section as well? It's working in the boards section.

Sorry to re-open this question again, but I found an issue with alternating colors where the code wasn't affecting those posts. So in the mini-profile section of the themes creator, I changed the alternate link color to be the same. However, this changes the color of the member rank as well, which should remain unchanged (white). Is there a way to specifically access non-grouped member profile name colors, or is there another workaround? (The top post name is changed by CSS and looks correct. The second post name is not affected by CSS, so I used the theme creator color. The name is correct, but it also changes the member rank color, which is then incorrect)

Sorry to re-open this question again, but I found an issue with alternating colors where the code wasn't affecting those posts. Hey lyndswins , I haven't been able to come up with a single selector that will handle all situations such as threads, info center, micro-profiles, quotes, etc. So lets attack this with a few different selectors (comma-separated) all sharing the same definition. Give this a whirl (change the #ff00ff to whatever color suits you) and let me know if you find any place where the non-group members don't have their name displayed in the desired color. /* Color display names for MEMBERS who are not in a group */ a.user-link, a.js-user-link, a.js-user-link.o-user-link.user-link, .micro-profile .name{ color:#ff00ff; } /* End of Section */

Retread for what it's worth there isn't a global selector for all these so you've hit the nail on the head 👍🏽(Just confirming since you said you were unable to find one)
