I do love a tuna sandwich. Though, never really liked the tuna from Subway. Too much mayonnaise for my liking. They do use a tad more mayo than I l ike, that is why I love it even better the next day-the mayo seems to become absorbed into the bread for me it's just yum! Just goes to show every persons varying tastes. I hate it when the bread gets soggy. If i am ordering one for later, i usually don't get the tomatoes in it for that reason. This actually reminds me of the difficulty of ordering a tuna sandwich in the US. My dialect usually dictates i pronounce tuna more like chu-na, and it is just not understood at all.

Retread Grilling is 100% amazing. I use butter to grill, but I've heard that using mayo is a level-up. Hmm, I haven't thought to try pickle relish or chopped onion. I think I'll give that a try next. It's tough to get onion really finely diced for me, but maybe with the Slap Chop. 😂 Might try some of that Creole seasoning. I have a "Chef's Shake" that works well on just about everything, too. A slice of sharp cheddar melted over the top is also very good, especially grilled. I haven't grilled anything with mayo but many years ago Miracle Whip had an ad campaign where they suggested grilling with it for 'tangy zip'. I tried that with a grilled cheese and didn't like it. Maybe it would be okay with tuna ... idk. Be careful with the Tony's, elli. It has an amazing flavor but it also has a serious kick. 🔥 A little goes a long way.

Instead of just Mayo when mixing with the Tuna, make it a mix of Mayo and Salad Cream.
Thank me later.

Has it not reached that side of the pond? Not by that name, no. Our "Miracle Whip" is apparently quite similar. Where mayonnaise contains more oil than vinegar, Miracle Whip and salad cream contain more vinegar than oil. I've basically been making my tuna salads with "salad cream" this whole time! I agree that it is tastier than mayonnaise.

Salad Cream? I had to look that one up. Has it not reached that side of the pond? No, but I probably could get it on Amazon. However if it is anything like Miracle Whip I may pass. It appears to be yellower than our (American) mayo so I had thought that it might have mustard in it. That I could get behind!

Apparently they're pretty much the same (props to elli for suggesting also). Bloody love salad cream.
