Limit members that can create threads but all to comment

I want to limit the number of people that can create a thread but allow everyone to comment on the thread.

Hi,

Head to Admin>Structure>Categories & Boards. Click the grey cog wheel icon to the right of the board you want to affect, then under the Permissions tab you'll want to set "Create Threads" from Everyone to Members and Staff (or use one of the other options to limit this as you see fit).

Multiple boards can be selected at once with Ctrl+Clicking on the boards and then selecting the Edit Properties button that appears on the top of the page.

Thank you very much. I have a follow up question. What if I want to allow members A, B and C to post but only after member D approves the post.

The Post Quarantine plugin should work for you: proboards.com/library/plugins/item/286

Do note that plugins won't work on the mobile version of v5, but will in our upcoming version 6 (closed beta ongoing).
