Something to showcase special members on a board.

Hi,

I have a board that's password protected. When that board reaches a milestone 1000 post increments, the one who made the post gets a special title and a badge. That board is up to 10,000 posts now.

I would like to put something there showcasing a list of the 'winners'.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Now that I've thought about it, I think just a special section in the 'Board Information & Statistics' would be good. You know where it says 'On this board you can/cannot...'? Maybe a section above that. I guess that would be more of a theme layout thing, right? I would like it customizable since I'll be adding names to it.

I think it should have the title. Sort of like how it is with the titles 'Users Online' 'Threads and Posts', 'Members'. Then underneath the title would be the names listed horizontally, like they are in the 'Users Online in the Last 24 Hours'. Each name would also maybe have which post they did. Example: Joe - 1K, Bob - 2K, etc., and be able to expand as I add more names. Just like how the 'Users Online last 24 hours...' expands.

Do you think I could probably just add that section in the theme layout?

I already have 10, and a new name every 1000 posts. I guess there would have to be a limit. The forum is only one year old. I guess I could cap it at 50 names. After that, I guess I could make another section and call it Round Two, or something like that. How many names do you think could fit in that section? They would be listed horizontally.

Yeah they could be horizontal, but for transparency having a cell per name is nice but likely won't play very nice on mobile depending on the length of each member's name. An individual cell would also take up much more space than a list, so if "too long" is a concern, this may or may not be the best method / 50 names may be too much.
