It's been a long time

Hey guys,

I just logged on out of sheer curiosity - surprised I remember my password!

It must be 10 years or so since I was active here - I was a mod for a few years - and I am not even sure if this post is allowed or breaks the rules! The old GT rules are no more!

Graphics Design was my area, and I've since moved into photography and then videography. Proboards was a huge part of my life a decade or so ago! I've since made a lot of friends for life, and I still remember a few of the names around here...

All the rules have been centralised, but still includes board specific rules in the main rules link.

Just managed to find the rules! 

And found my last posts - seems I was more active at university than I remember. A lot of good memories that I can't place!

How are you doing? Been a long time! I remember the meet-up at Cardiff Castle, whatever year that was - was handy for me. Haven't lived in the UK for 7 years either! 

I think I had a good 8 or so years on here - 6 of them very active. As a lonely teenager it played a large part in my development!

Hey there!! Nice to see that member name again! Are you doing videography with a company, or your own business? I tried wedding photography for a while. I was good at it and enjoyed it while actively shooting, but I absolutely hated the anxiety pre-wedding.

Hi Anselm. My activity on Proboards ended about 8 to 9 years ago, but I have made an occasional post on PBS every other year or so.

I wonder if you remember my name? We used to speak on Yahoo Messenger/Windows Live. I believe we were both staff members on a forum called FreeAdvertise or FreeToAdvertise.

Visiting this forum is bittersweet. I can see moments from middle school to university flash by me. It's quite a coincidence that we both decided to check the forum around the same week.

It's a pleasant surprise to see you, Patrick [ASE]  I used to enjoy reading your posts.

Hey maven! How are you doing? Been doing it for myself. Started out in landscape photography interestingly then just sidetracked. I couldn't do weddings, that involves people at far too important stages in their lives...

Yes - I do remember you! High school to university mostly for me too. Good times! I remember FTA... the hours I spent on here as a teenager. It was my childhood, in ways.
