Forum URL: ledenraadknmv.boards.net11.bmp (848.25 KB) why do I get this privacy pop-up all the time, while switching screens on the same forum. No matter what I choose, each screen it pops-up.

The message is related to cookies. that message is 'controlled' by cookies. Once the user click a button on the message, that action is remembered in a cookie stored in their browser. If the cookie gets deleted, they are presented with that message again. Since you say that message is appearing frequently for them, then I would assume the cookie is being deleted either by a browser setting or security extension or program. Do they have someone on their end that could help look at their settings? From this thread.

Halas IT only is on a specific board. On ledenraadknmv.boards.net Not on wabp.boards.net.

As cookies are site specific, it is possible for it to happen one forum and not the other.

Bunnie, I would surmise that unless you have a security/privacy app or extension in use, that it may just be a browser setting. For Chrome, go to the forum in question. Then in the browser's address bar, just to the left of the URL is a padlock icon. Click the icon and then choose Site Settings. On Chrome's settings page for that site (forum), click the Reset permissions button. Let us know if that solves your issue. Note after doing this you may still receive that privacy pop-up one more time, but hopefully shouldn't after that.

Hi,
opening ledenraadknmv.boards.net on chrome didn't produce the privacy pop-up at all.
Opening on Edge just one time.
In my own browser I changed the option Third-party cookie policy: from forbidden to allowed and then it was OK.
But still strange is the fact that the privacy pop-up only appeared with that forum: not on the supportforum or wabp.boards.net.
Anyway, it's gone.
thanks for your time and ideas.
NB When I set it back to forbidden, the pop-up is there again for each screen on ledenraadknmv.boards.net What to do to have my setting back?

Bunnie, when you visit that forum with 3rd-party cookie allowed it should set and save the cookie associated with the privacy pop-up once you've agreed. In Edge's Cookies and Site data section there is a 'Clear on Exit'. Do you by chance have the forum added as a site there?

Bunnie, in your previous post you referenced Edge, so I assumed. Sorry. So what is the browser you are using?

Hi, since decades I use Maxthon. I recommend it. Hi, This is not a supported browser. The popup will continue to appear unless there is a cookie saved indicating your preferences. If all cookies are blocked then the popup should continue to appear on every page load.
