Any other Magic the Gathering fans here? I have been in and out of the game for awhile now. First started back in 2002 and got real competitive with it at one point going to Grand Prix's and such.

I played for a few years. I’ve been to some GPs, not so much because I was competitive (never made day 2) but I love the big events. I was actually TO for our local store for a bit, before they stopped having events. After the local tournament scene fizzled out, some of us were meeting for Commander occasionally until the start of last year, when obviously covid ruined that. I dabble in Arena sometimes, but I miss the social side of it and Arena just doesn’t cut it for that.

Started playing when I was about 12 maybe in 2002... absolutely loved it and still love it to this day, have the MTG game on desktop. Grew up with Elves but tend to favour darker decks these days.

Chaz I always liked the look of elves in Modern, but never got around to building it. I generally play white weenie decks in standard, and Bogles in modern. |
