help with creating a thread

Hello I created this Forum for my boss who is retiring, I am hoping the employees of our company will write to him through this forum wishing him a happy retirement. I am trying to make the forum as simple as possible and therefore I do not want the employees to have to register. As the Admin I disabled the registration but when I am looking at our forum as a guest I do not see how to create a thread, can you advise where you create a thread as a guest? I enclosed a screen shot of our dashboard. I also enclosed a screen shot of the Welcome thread, I can see that I can reply to this thread but again do not see where a guest can create a new thread. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi maccio

When a guest visits your forum, they can navigate to the General Discussion board. In the Title Bar for that board, you'll see the words: Create Thread. Click that and it will open the Posting Page where the guest can enter the Guest Name they wish to have associated with them, The Subject of the thread, and the content of the original post of the thread.

When the desired information is entered in those three fields, the guest can then click the Create Thread button at the bottom of the page.

Hi maccio and welcome to ProBoards Support.

When you click on the board name General Discussion, there is a 'Create Thread' button on the right hand side of the title bar, (see image below) and by clicking on that button, guests will be able to create a thread.
