There's an RP advertising subboard here on support, in the Advertise Your Forum board -- that's probably your best bet for active RP forums and that way you can figure out which ones you like; fair warning that most of them probably will not be dice-based.

You can also join non-PB RP communities like Caution to the Wind and RPG Directory to reach a broader range of RP forums that may be to your liking (I can't link to these because they're not PB-hosted, but they're easy to Google and if you're just trying to decide on a system / genre / gamestyle you like, they're good resources).
