want to delete forum & stop paying monthly fee to remove ads

I'd like to delete this forum (http://thesnyderverse.proboards.com/) but I've read that I need to coordinate with proboards to stop the monthly $6 payment to remove ads. I'd like to do that. Please advise.

Hi

You can cancel the adfree subscription via your Global Account pages.

www.proboards.com/account/settings/subscriptions

Click on the X that shows to the right of the active subscription, and confirm. This will end the recurring payment.

If you run in to any problems, or have any further questions, please let us know.

Thanks. It says I have no subscriptions. But my credit card is being billed monthly.

Do you perhaps have another account on the forum tied to a different email address?

Doctor Zeus, the forum you listed above uses a different email address than what you are using for your account here.

1. If you created the forum thesnyderverse.proboards.com then log in to the admin account.
2. From there go to Admin > Upgrades > Ad-Free.
3. You should see your recurring subscription listed.
4. At the far right, click on the "X" to cancel your subscription.

Okay, I think I got it sorted out, thanks. Looks like it's cancelled now.
