Forum payment options by two different people

Hi,
Two fellow members are willing to pay to give our forum a more comprehensive package of features, expanding the number and space for attachments is one of them.
The easiest way seems to them to pay this in relay form for a year, so that they do not have to settle anything between themselves. Only one of them has been added to my Admin group.


What is the best option to enable this payment option for them?

Rocky_Ruud, it really depends on what options they are paying for.

In regards to Attachment storage:

1. Create a member group (give it what ever name you want)
2. Set the group type to either Private or Hidden
3. Leave Staff set to 'no' and set the Global to 'yes'
4. Edit Powers and set ONLY the File Storage to 'yes'
5. Save Changes

6. Go to the member's profile, then click on the Groups tab
7. Find the group you just created and click the "Add this Member to Group"

That's it. This will allow the member to access only that section of the admin panel and only be able to increase the storage (albeit for Themes, Plugins, and Attachments).

You want to be careful granting powers, especially those the member doesn't need.

Sometimes I am too quick, too enthusiastic about your helpfull answers.
Unfortunately it turns out later that the answer was not fully answered for the concerned forum members.

So after consultation:
Very nice that it is possible to create a safe place where the members can make the payment. I already created one on your lead.
An important part of the memebers issue is that they want to make the payments alternately. So Member A pays the first month, first quarter or first year, Member B pays the next monthe, next quarter or next year.


How do you capture something like that? How do you make it possible for it to pass correctly from one to the other and vice versa?

Rocky_Ruud, ah sorry I didn't grasp that and should have inquired when you used the word "relay."

Unfortunately this is not possible in the way that you'd like. I mean you could set them both up in that same member group and have one start the subscription, but for the other to take over, the first would need to cancel the subscription and then have the second start it up again. And so on. Not feasible for your situation, I understand.

The only other option would just be for the members to reimburse you for the monthly subscription cost.
