8 Years on Proboards!

Well, it's been 20 years. To commemorate the occasion, here is an image I found on Google:



Now that we've got the celebration out of the way, let's look back on a recap of my 20-year journey here:

2001: I make a ProBoards and am immediately baffled by the fact that I can't add more than 5 member ranks. This is a huge deal, because being able to add lots of ranks is obviously one of the primary reasons why one would create a forum. I sign up on the support forum about ten minutes after creating my first forum to seek clarity on this most confounding issue.

2003: People start to know who I am, and I start to know who they are. We occasionally exchange meaningful glances and maybe even a quick nod as we pass each other on the street.

2005: Some stuff happens, but the exact nature of the stuff has been lost to time. All we have is our memories, and are those even reliable?

2007: Even more stuff, possibly. Ooh, we are cooking now.

2010: I become President of GT. I don't know why or what I am supposed to do. This is the most confusing time

2012: I don't remember this year at all

2017: Was this the year the Eagles won the Super Bowl? No, no, that was next year. Sorry

2019: V5 is here! Or maybe that was 2014 or something

2021: And here we are. What an incredible journey it's been!

Well than Mr.President what promises have you kept other than keeping gas prices high?

Not just gas prices, but also crime, pollution, and unemployment. My motto is "the sky's the limit"

Also, that reminds me, air traffic control incidents are also up.

So many memories for me, I can't say if it's been on since but the Korean Betting spammer that kept hitting the boards all at once, all the genuine posts would be knocked down and you had to wait until Admin or Mods deleted them and got rid of the spammer but he/she would only come back again under another name.

2022 will mark my 15th year as a member of the support forums, but I've known about ProBoards for even longer. 2005 was when I joined my first PB forum.
