Hi,
I noticed that when a thread is moved by an admin or moderator, then moved back to it's original board, the 'Created by' column shows the admin or moderator's name as author of the thread and not the original author. Is there a way to correct that?
Thank you.

Hi freeb is the staff moving the entire thread or just one or more posts from within the thread? If you think of a thread as a bag and the posts within that thread as the individual papers within that bag then when you move the entire bag the owner's name tag on that bag goes with it. On the other hand, if you pull the papers out of the bag and transfer it to new bag then the name tag would be different than the one on the original bag (would be the name of the person who owns [created] this new bag). Moving the entire threadVersus moving individual postspreserves ownership

freeb - simply put, if the thread is being moved the created by will not change. However if it is the posts being moved then they will take on the created by of the person moving them - if moved to a new thread.
