Thank you for your reply. I may have to look for different forum for our small group. We don't need or want different threads and are used to having the most recent post at the top.

Thank you for your reply. I may have to look for different forum for our small group. We don't need or want different threads and are used to having the most recent post at the top. A couple of things which may help. On any given thread which has new posts in since you last looked at it, will have a 'new' icon alongside. If you click on that icon, it will load the topic to the first unread post. Second thing is the last post information for that topic. If you click on that cell it will open to the last post in the topic.

(I see that Craig beat me to the punch as I was preparing the graphic for my post)debiraitz , I understand something new can be disconcerting. However I hope you and your group will give the forum a chance and hopefully in time find more benefits that outweigh the things that you are not used to. Regarding the order of posts, most find that when reading a new thread or catching up on unread posts in a single thread, that reading in order from oldest to newest is a familiar action that makes the process easier. Here's some helpful tips regarding new posts in a thread: A. Clicking on the new icon will take you to the first unread post of that thread. B. Clicking on the thread title will take you to the first post of that thread. C. Clicking in the Last Post cell will take you to the last post of that thread (which is the most recent post made in that thread). We are here to assist you with questions about your forum including the available features and how they work. Additionally we have an extensive library of Help Guide articles you can read through.
