You could test-drive it, there's a good 10 day rollback on 11. But at the moment none of the major new features are active, it's mostly aesthetics and a few tweaks.
MS say they will continue supporting 10 'till 2025 and they usually offer the free upgrade for 2 to 5 years after releasing a new OS. So there's no rush.
Personally, from experience, I'd wait until the first major update before taking the plunge. And double backup everything before you do.
Enjoy your new machine. 😊

Win11 is basically 10 with a more touch friendly UI the only thing you may run into are driver issues but that's rare considering compatability mode.

Been running windows 11 for the better part of 2022, and it’s been wonderful. It’s faster than 10. Loads 5 seconds faster on boot with a Samsung v nand SSD 990 pro 2TB and it boots up within 9 seconds of a cold start.
Windows 10 on my other computer (not compatible) takes 5 minutes to load, and uses the hard drive 100% for 30 minutes. It is a disc drive and not an SSD. But, it should be able to jog at least. lol. Takes 5 minutes to boot. Updates take 8 hours to finish. lol. Even with an SSD it wasn’t as fast and felt clunky.
It all comes down to preference though. Windows 11 did introduce a lot of performance. At least in my opinion, windows 11 is windows 7. Windows 10 felt like windows 8/8.1.

I love W11, when I got my lappy that requested I upgrade I didn't hesitate and love it with no regrets.
