Forum URL: mellyg.proboards.comWe have a member, actually a moderator, who has developed an issue with being able to use the color wheel. It worked for her in the past, but now it only comes up with the big box in blue and no way to change it to another color. She says there is no long bar next to it with different colors to choose from. She is using an iPad and has tried a different browser and rebooting with no change. Thanks.

fashionita , When your member clicks on the color icon, they should see this (this is a screen shot from my iPad: Are they able to provide a screen shot of what they are seeing?

fashionita, thanks for providing the screenshot. Can you ask the member what iPad model/version they have and what their iOS version is. (They can find this by tapping on the Settings icon, then go to General, then About)

fashionita, ok thanks. Just trying to do some trouble shooting as we haven't seen this issue before. Has anything recently changed in their computing environment? (Added any new apps? or has their ISP changed?) Do they have another device to test with? (Like a desktop computer or another tablet?)

fashionita, Does she have the option to try out a different device? This would tell us if it's related to her wifi or the device. (And sorry for all the questions, this is sort of a needle in a haystack, while we try to figure what's going on.)

I know the answer to that question. I probably should've just quoted her. She does not currently have access to any other devices. Her husband's desktop has died and her tablet is the only other device. She said she just got through ordering both a new desktop for him and a new iPad for her. Sorry.

fashionita , no worries. Would your member be willing to clear their browser's cookies/cache for the site? This would log them out of the forum. Close out Safari before doing this: - Tap on the Settings icon
- In the Settings window on the left side pane, scroll down to find Safari and tap on it.
- The right side pane will display "Safari" at the top. Scroll down the right side pane to the bottom and tap on Advanced.
- In the Advanced window, tap on Website Data (still the right side pane).
- Scroll the list of website data and look for proboards.com (or type proboards in the search field)
- It should show a listing for proboards.com below the search field.
- Press on the listing and swipe left, a red delete box will appear to the right.
- Tap the red Delete box
Reopen Safari, log in to the forum and see if this clears up the issue.

Scott, My member got her new tablet and Laptop computers and is still experiencing the same problem. She is using iOS 15.2.1 on her iPad and the Laptop is HP Windows 11. Same issue on both. I see there is someone else who has reported the same issue here on the help board.

fashionita, there is another user reporting a similar issue, and it so far appears to be related to a recent addition of Norton Safe Search. Can you please ask your member if they are using any Norton add-ons.

I asked her that yesterday when I saw that and she said she didn't have Norton Anti-virus on her tablet. I'll ask her to make sure she doesn't have some other Norton product. She's not particularly computer savvy and her computer savvy daughter set up her device.
